Description
This pre-owned bag is a Speedy 35 in Monogram canvas. The Speedy retains its shape as a Boston bag, a scaled-down travel model for the city: two short handles, an end-to-end zip, and a wide base that allows it to stand upright. The 35 is the generous size in the family, large enough to fit a laptop and all your essentials for the day. The natural leather of the handles darkens over the years: it is what tells the story of the bag.
Dated June 1995 (code SP0965), this model is offered in Grade B+, preserved in very good overall condition with some slight signs of wear:
- Monogram coated canvas in good overall condition, clear pattern, no visible cracking.
- Natural leather on the handles, feet, and puller, frankly patinated and darkened, marked at the folds (documented in photos).
- Handle attachment feet stained in places (documented in photos).
- Corners and bottom of the bag rubbed, piping worn on the edges (documented in photos).
- Interior: light fabric lining yellowed and marked by use, with a small ink mark near the date code patch (documented in photos).
- Patinated gold-tone hardware, zip fully functional throughout its length.
