Description
This pre-owned bag is a Kelly 32 in black box calfskin, saddle-stitched: visible stitching on the outside, a trapezoidal shape that stands upright on its own, and a flap closed by two straps and a touret lock. Box calfskin is a smooth, glossy leather that catches the light and shows every trace of wear. A vintage pre-owned handbag designed to be carried by hand, nothing else—and that is its entire purpose.
Offered in Grade B+, this model is kept in very good overall condition with some light signs of wear:
- Glossy black box calfskin, fine scratches and surface marks spread across the panels and flap (documented in photos).
- Corners and edges marked by pressure, creases formed on the gussets and the bottom of the bag (documented in photos).
- Even leather handle, no cracking; attachments and rings in place.
- Touret lock and gold-tone plates with a patina, micro-scratches from use; the flap closes and stays shut (documented in photos).
- Interior: clean black leather lining, pockets in place, no distortion.
- Structure: the bag retains its shape and stands upright; all base studs are present.
