Description
This pre-owned bag is a Speedy 25 in Monogram canvas. The Speedy retains its shape as a compact city version of the travel bag: two short handles, an end-to-end zip, and a wide base that allows it to stand upright. The 25 is the smallest of the three classic sizes, designed to be carried in the crook of the arm without ever feeling bulky. The natural leather of the handles darkens over the years: it is what tells the story of the bag's life.
Dated February 1999 (code SP0929), this model is offered in Grade B+, preserved in very good overall condition with some minor signs of wear:
- Monogram coated canvas in good overall condition, clear pattern, no visible cracking.
- Natural leather handles, feet, and puller clearly patinated and darkened, with cracks on the puller (documented in photos).
- Corners and bottom of the bag rubbed, piping slightly worn on the edges (documented in photos).
- Interior: brown fabric lining generally clean (documented in photos).
- Patinated gold-tone hardware, zip functional throughout its length.
- Soft structure: the bag slumps when at rest.
